Aisling Annacotty AFC is an ambitious football club based in the city of Limerick. We are currently recruiting a Strength and Conditioning Coach to plan and deliver a Long Term Athletic Development Program (LTAD) for our Schoolboy and Schoolgirl teams in our newly designed state of the art Gymnasium.Our head of sports science and athletic development coach Derek McCarthy in conjunction with Shayne Murphy of SDM Performance have created an age-appropriate physical development program based on the three phases of player development pathway of performance. Derek and Shayne have over a decade of experience working in elite soccer. Derek has worked in the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers andinternationally with the Jordan and China youth national teams, while Shayne has worked at Liverpool FC, Blackburn Rovers FC and most recently Manchester City helping to develop the likes of Phil Foden and Jadon Sancho. Shayne is currently working internationally with the Scotland national team.Fundamental to the success of the academy is a culture based on research focused on training and development techniques that allow players to have the best training and support to maximize their potential.Aisling Annacotty has developed a curriculum to ensure that all coaches can consistently deliver to a high standard.
