The Football Foundation is looking for a Marketing Officer in an Internship Program.

The Marketing Officer Internship will help communicate the role and activities of the Football Foundation with a focus on its performance management software Upshot.

The role will expose the applicant to lots of aspects of the communications and marketing for both the Foundation and Upshot.

The successful candidate will need to produce articles for the websites, create and design marketing collateral and assist with the preparation and the delivery of the overall strategic objectives of the organisation. The post holder will work on marketing for both the grantees of the Foundations and the marketing of Upshot.


Successful candidates will have some experience in marketing and communications and have experience in using social media as a marketing tool. The post holder will have to work to tight deadlines and be a proactive self-starter.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as demonstrating that they are able to work towards tight deadlines. The post holder will also need strong organisational skills and the ability to self-motivate. Most importantly, a willingness to work as part of a team to help the Foundation achieve its aims is a key part of the role.
