Overview

To be responsible for the overall management and development of the academy, in line with the coaching philosophy, vision and values of the academy and the club as a whole.

To oversee and develop a comprehensive youth strategy in consultation with the board member responsible for youth development. The academy manager must have a modern approach to development and be forward thinking in their long-term strategy for the academy.

The role requires someone with a clear passion for the development of talented football players, creating a pathway into the first team at Chesterfield FC. Due to the nature of the academy, this role includes working weekends and evenings.
