City in the Community Foundation are recruiting Part Time Community Football Coaches to join their Inclusion team in an outstanding working environment in Manchester. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to make a real difference to the lives of young people in the Manchester area.
The Community Football Coach will be take responsibility for the planning and coach delivery of a range of CITC Football based sessions. The post holder will be expected to effectively ensure the quality of delivery is of a high standard across all delivery sites and create a fun, structured, enjoyable but also safe environment for all to develop within. With effective organisation and delivery skills, the role will require the post holder to work with a wide range of ages and abilities as well as work closely with the Football Community Officer and football leads at each of the High School and University delivery sites. The role will also require the individual to be flexible in terms of being able to deliver day time football coaching provision as well as being able to deliver two evenings a week.

We are looking for candidates who have great experience and knowledge of sport participation and are able to showcase the ability to be able to work with a wide range of age and abilities. Effective organisation, delivery and planning skills are essential, in addition to a good general understanding of CITC themes and programmes. Candidates must have excellent time management and prioritisation skills, along with the ability to work independently and use their own initiative. It is essential that candidates have proven experience in planning and coaching sport programmes, preferably sport within the community sector. Finally, we are looking for flexible, positive, innovative resilient and determined candidates to join a growing team.
