Celtic Football Club has an exciting opportunity for a Women’s First Team Head Coach.  The role will be responsible for the recruitment, management and direction of the Women’s First Team.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Retain and recruit the most talented players in the country
  • Ensure high standards of recruitment and coaching delivery across the First Team & Development Squad (in conjunction with Head of Academy)
  • Prepare & deliver appropriate coaching sessions, including the use of video & performance analysis
  • Arrange & coordinate training & match day operations including the management of equipment/kit
  • Produce match reports & plans in line with set targets, accurately & timeously
  • Establish & maintain communication with staff & players, briefing on updates & developments
  • Arrange & coordinate staff meetings & parents’/players’ evenings
  • Build relationships with scouts & agents to help recruit & develop players
  • Comply with Company policies & procedures and Health & Safety legislation
  • Attend in-service sessions, training courses & meetings as specified by SWF, SWFA
  • Attend Academy and opposition games whenever possible

Conditions:

The role will require a flexible approach to working hours, with evening and weekend working required.

Requirements:

Skills and Experience required:

  • Applicants must hold a valid UEFA A Licence
  • Previous football experience in coaching and playing required
  • High level of management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • IT literate
