Job Description
To coach a specific age group, including individual, small group and full group sessions, implementing a Player Development Programme which maximises the opportunities for young players to reach their full potential across all age groups in line with the clubs player development plan and philosophy.
Deliver coaching sessions in accordance with the RTC technical syllabus.
Ensure that the registration of players attending sessions is logged on the correct manner as set out by the Club.
Monitor and assess the players in the development centre in training and in match performances and to keep and maintain all appropriate records using the methods prescribed by the company for the auditing of players.
Preparing and conducting player/parent reviews on a school termly basis using the standard RTC Player Review Templates and ensure that such reviews are carried out following the JPL Player review protocol document and ensure that these reviews are signed.
Providing regular written and verbal feedback to the Centre Manager on player Progress.
To liaise with all RTC Staff when players are ready for progression to the year group above or potential academy programme.
Contribute and take part in a programme of continuing professional development as and when required by the JPL. Whilst maintaining personal CPD as appropriate to meet the demands of the role. Work towards qualifications when new awards become appropriate to the role.
Inform the Centre Manager at the RTC of any player/family issues on football or nonrelated football matters concerning players/trialist within your care.
To attend RTC fixtures and festivals throughout the season.
Contribute to the Scouting and Recruitment process where appropriate in relation to the RTC.
Undertake administrative tasks related to the role.
Liaise with parents as required to communicate any new information regarding the RTC and its programme and meet and greet new families appropriately.
You will be responsible for the health and safety of players in your care and should maintain a safe environment at all times including coaching sessions, fixtures and travel.
You will coach players 1-2 times in a week.
Ensure the relationship with children and vulnerable adults is appropriate and language, behaviour and demeanour is suitable. The Company will expect you to undertake training to ensure an understanding of best practice in relation to Children and/or Vulnerable Adults.
You will be responsible for the welfare of children in your care and should not leave them in the care of others.
