They are looking to add to their Academy staff and have openings for part-time Physical Therapists/Sports Therapists.

This is a great way to gain sports experience by working with players on and off the field at a high level.

Physical Therapists / Sports Therapists

Successful candidates will provide physiotherapy and on-pitch lateral coverage on match days for Academy teams with the ability to work with the reserve team and 1st team players in reserve games. They will also hold clinics during the week that injured players can attend for pre-rehab/and liaise with the Academy’s Sports Science department regarding player recovery and strength and conditioning.

Essential

Physiotherapy degree or equivalent and/or relevant sports therapist degree
Registered HPC
Valid National Sports First Aid Certificate or equivalent
Work experience within the relevant age groups.
Strong communication skills
excellent communication skills
Committed to working nights and weekends, including training sessions, fixtures, and in-service training.
Full driver’s license and access to a car.
PVG Verification to be completed prior to appointment.
Eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable

Knowledge of local area and players/teams
Valid Safeguard Certificate
Experience working at Academy Football
WORKING HOURS: Evenings and weekends

SALARY: Competitive.
