The Academy Head of Recruitment will be part of the academy management team and will be involved in the implementation of the direction and strategic plan for talent identification and recruitment into the academy.

Role expectations.

Reporting to the Academy Director, the Academy Head of Recruitment is expected to:

Manage the recruitment strategy at the Academy (from 6 to 23 years old) in close collaboration with the Director of the Academy and in coordination with any other department head.

Contract type: Permanent, full time - 40 hours per week - must be prepared to work nights and weekends based on installation / training requirements.


FA Talent Identification Level 4
FA protection certificate
A proven track record of working within a defined recruiting framework and of being successful in identifying, recruiting and signing young players.
Work experience in international recruitment markets and key stakeholders within
Excellent knowledge and experience of the football environment in relation to player recruitment and the regulations governing player recruitment.
Good knowledge and a strong network of other contacts within player recruitment
EPPP experience and Category 1 academies
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of protection protocols and procedures.
Full driving license and access to transportation.
A flexible attitude towards working hours and availability on weekends and evenings.
A friendly, positive "can do" and courteous attitude.
