Football for Good (FFG) is searching for a ‘Director of Coaching & Recruitment’ for January of 2019. This leadership position Will be responsible for all technical football direction/coaching, along with the development of a regional talent identification plan, with the support Of FFG’s Recruitment Coordinator.

The Director of Coaching & Recruitment’s primary objective is to create a positive, supportive and demanding environment for world-class football, character and academic development — preparing the FFG talent for global scholarship and professional football opportunities.

In less than four years, FFG is being recognized as one Of East Africa’s top full-time residential youth football academies.

FFG delivers a national training centre in Kampala and a regional training centre in Gulu, which provides the best young boys and girls with a scholarship that gives them full-time football training, and international coaching and exposure — as well as an exemplary academic and character development program.

FFG has scouted over 12,000 young players to select the 40 that now make up the elite academy.

FFG already has five young players competing in the Ugandan Premier League — and in September.

FFG sent their first international student-athlete on a full scholarship to Canada’s St. Andrew’s College.

On the field, FFG currently trains and plays in two groups, with the U15 squad being the youngest, by more than three years, to currently be competing in the FUFA Juniors League, Uganda’s elite U 19 national league.




Develop & deliver FFG's technical football direction and full football curriculum

Develop & support FFG's Uganda/East Africa talent scouting and identification program

Head coaching responsibilities and a regular rotational role with all academy squads

Lead individual player development plans, programs and videos sessions

Develop & deliver a coach educatlon and evaluation program for local FFG staff & community coaches

Support the Academy Director with FFG's elite character, culture and academic program


One-year renewable Contract (starting in January of 2019), with a generous monthly salary commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.

Accommodation, meals, cleaning/laundry services, and mobile/wifi services provided

Al travel provided, including one return flight from your home to Uganda, and all transport in Uganda
